1. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for all activity under your account.
2. License to use the Service
We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use EZCheck for your own to-do, project, study and travel checklists, subject to these terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload or share unlawful, harmful, infringing, or harassing content;
- attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service;
- use the Service to send spam, malware, or unsolicited advertising;
- impersonate another person or scrape personal data of other users;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service without our written permission.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the checklists, items, titles, and other content you create on the Service (“Your Content”). You grant Thaktive International Limited a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, back up, and display Your Content solely so that we can operate and provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
5. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue features at any time, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. You are solely responsible for backing up critical data.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Thaktive International Limited and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the in-app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, the licenses you grant us continue only to the extent necessary for legal compliance and backups.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects when the latest version took effect. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or notified in-app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the place of incorporation of Thaktive International Limited, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
